For two weeks, students, parents, teachers, businesses and members of the community have provided a variety of items and monetary donations.
The school had a trailer outside Rotolos on West 70th set up for donations. 25 percent of all sales went to North Vermillion.
“Just appreciate the community coming together. it’s nice to be here in a community that cares about people. and so, this was all stake holders coming together to help north Vermillion” said Principal Ginger Gustavson.
On Thursday (8/25/16) around 3:00 p.m., students will load the trailer with all the donations that have been collected at the school and on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 7:30 a.m., several representatives from Captain Shreve will travel to North Vermillion High School to drop off the donations and help in any way needed.
