\"ScreenCaptain Shreve High School has adopted North Vermillion High School of Maurice, LA in efforts to assist this school with recovery efforts as a result of the devastation they have experienced from recent flooding.<\/div>\n

For two weeks, students, parents, teachers, businesses and members of the community have provided a variety of items and monetary donations.<\/div>\n

The school had a trailer outside\u00a0Rotolos\u00a0on West\u00a070th\u00a0set up for donations. 25 percent of all sales went to North Vermillion.<\/div>\n

“Just appreciate the community coming together. it’s nice to be here in a community that cares about people. and so, this was all stake holders coming together to help north Vermillion” said Principal Ginger\u00a0Gustavson.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On Thursday (8\/25\/16) around 3:00 p.m., students will load the trailer with all the donations that have been collected at the school and on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 7:30 a.m., several representatives from Captain Shreve will travel to North Vermillion High School to drop off the donations and help in any way needed.<\/div>\n
